Made by Shane Parker for Super Punch.
A couple months ago I learned The Beatles nearly made a Lord of The Rings movie. You can read this quote while I lie down and continuing trying to wrap my head around this one:
According to Peter Jackson, who knows a little something about making Lord of the Rings movies, John Lennon was the Beatle most keen on LOTR back in the '60s—and he wanted to play Gollum, while Paul McCartney would play Frodo, Ringo Starr would take on Sam and George Harrison would beard it up for Gandalf. And he approached a pre-2001 Stanley Kubrick to direct. [Blastr]
Mind . . . blown. The movie was never made, as J.R.R. Tolkien, who was awesomely still alive at the time, put a stop to it. Super Punch heard about the attempt a couple months ago as well, and ran a contest to design the movie poster, concept art, toys, or other art for Stanley Kubrick's Lord of the Rings starring The Beatles. This morning they announced the winner (at right), designed by Jason Chalker. After the jump are some of our favorite entries, and you can view the full gallery at Super Punch.
Je viens d'apprendre cette nouvelle. Je ne sais pas si c'est vrai ou si c'est une rumeur mais plusieurs sites l'affirment en tout cas.

Les affiches sont amusantes à voir.
